About Me

Hello, I'm Maria! My journey with dogs started when my husband Craig and I brought home our first dog, Dolly, when she was 9 weeks old. I instantly fell in love and really enjoyed raising her from a puppy, and everything that comes with that!

My background is actually in HR and after a 12 year corporate career I decided to step away. I was determined to do something that I would find more personally fulfilling and in alignment with my love for dogs, nature, and the great outdoors.

I enrolled in a Level 3 qualification in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare. I also completed my certificates in Pet First Aid and Canine Communication. At the beginning of 2026, we adopted our second dog Reggie, from a local rescue. My mission is to provide professional, heartfelt care that gives you peace of mind. My services include 1-2-1 dog walking, pop-ins, home sitting, and group adventures to fully enclosed dog fields and woodlands such as Oak Paddock, Hayters Field. K9 Woods Dog Park and sometimes further afield to the fantastic Three Legged Cross Dog Park!

Dog Walking

When it comes to walking in public areas I only offer 1-2-1 walks, or walks with dogs from the same household.  Your dog's overall safety and welfare, in addition to my own, is top priority.

Personalised & Professional Care

Reliable and loving dog walking, pop-ins, and home sitting services in Lytchett Minster, Lytchett Matravers, Corfe Mullen, Upton & Hamworthy.  Fully insured.

Home Pop-ins

Home visits to provide food, water refills, toilet breaks, and plenty of playful company for your dogs (including puppies) and cats.

Home Sitting

Overnight care in your home so your dogs and/or cats can stay in their own familiar environment while you're away, stress-free.  For Home Sitting, I consider towns that are slightly outside my geographical "patch" so please enquire so long as you live within Dorset.

Group Adventures

Would your dog prefer the company of other dogs, to run and around and play?

Some dogs prefer peaceful solo 1-2-1 walks where they can explore at their own pace, while others thrive on the energy and fun of being around other dogs, playing and socialising freely. Secure, enclosed fields provide the perfect environment for both types—they offer a safe space where sociable dogs can run and play off-lead without risk. These spaces let every dog experience the joy of freedom and fresh air in a secure, controlled setting.

How does it work?

I shall collect your dog in my spacious SUV vehicle (perfect for dogs who are not used to being in the back of a van) and take your dog, along with 2 or maximum 3 other dogs, to a secure, enclosed, paid-for area for 55 minutes of fun. I constantly interact with the dogs, whether that be playing fetch, encouraging the use of the agility equipment (with treats I provide) and walking round the edge of the field or enclosure. Water will be available on site. One thing is for certain - your dog will have an amazing time!

In total your dog will likely be away from the home for around 2 hours including travel time.

What is the cost?

The cost is £20.

Why is this a great option?

Well for you to take your dog by yourself to a secure enclosure it would cost you in the region of £10 to £15 depending on which one you book, plus your fuel and the time involved. With myself leading the group adventures it means your dog has the fun of being with other dogs, which makes adventures all the more exciting, and will help tire them out! Plus it means it may be possible for you to have a whole day out confidently knowing your dog is not going to be home alone all day.

This is also ideal for dogs that don't have a great recall, as it won't matter as the areas are fully secure, no people or other dogs, other than the ones in our small group, will be able to get inside.
